Attorney Timothy Gassner of Madras, OR; rubber check afficianado

The State of Oregon presented Timothy Richard Gassner with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Timothy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Wrote checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
• Failed to safeguard client funds in violation of RPC 1.15-1(a), and
• Failed to remove client funds from trust before they were earned
• Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that his bookkeeper’s and staff’s conduct was compatible with
• his professional obligations
• By failing to comply with the trust account rules, Timmy caused actual harm to the legal profession
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), Timmy practices his so-called brand of law with Timothy R. Gassner PC at 281 SW 3^rd Street in Madras, Oregon.
