Attorney Christopher Barr of Scottsdale, AZ; ethical troll 

The state of Arizona presented Christopher Lamont Barr with a law license in 2015 after she graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law. 

The Arizona State Bar found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Misconduct involved a selfish or dishonest motive
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Converted [stole] client funds for his own personal use
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Chris!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Abandoned his clients after accepting substantial legal fees

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 4-years suspension of his law license effective March 2002 and assessed investigative costs of $1,698.82.

Additionally, Chris was ordered to pay restitution to the following former clients (victims).

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Chris will resume his so-called practice of with the Barr Law Firm PLLC at 3260 North Hayden Road in Scottsdale, Arizona in early 2026.
