Attorney Jean Pagliughi of Ludlow, VT; moronic loser

The state of Vermont presented Claude Castro with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Touro University School of Law.

The Vermont Bar Court found Jeannie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to maintain accuracy records of her firm’s client trust accounts
• Commingled client fund with personal funds
• Failed to maintain a record for each client or person for whom property was held, showing all receipts and disbursements
• Failed to perform timely client trust account reconciliations
• Failed to verify that the IOLTA trust account ledger for her client reflected that the client had sufficient funds to cover checks she wrote from the account on the client’s behalf
• On two occasions Jean attempted to pay third parties to the transactions who had either already been paid by others, or were to be paid by others
• Failed to properly safeguard client funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Jeannie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jeannie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.pagliughilaw.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.
