Attorney Andreas Kyres of Portage, IN; ethical misfit

The state of Indiana presented Andreas T. Kyres with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Andy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Used means in representing a client that have no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person.
• During a hearing, Andy falsely claimed he had evidence that opposing counsel had a sexual relationship with the police sergeant who had handled Opposing Party’s report and the subsequent investigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Indiana Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2022), Andy practices his so-called brand of law with Vouga & Melton in Portage, Indiana.
