Attorney Timothy Benedict of Rome, NY; ethical troll
The state of New York provided Timothy A. Benedict a law license in 200 after he graduated from the State University of New York Buffalo School of Law.
The Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department found Timmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Intentionally prejudiced or damaged a client during his representation

Entered in sexual relations with a client while representing the client in a domestic relations matter

Misappropriated (stole) funds belonging to another person that he received incident to his practice of law

Commingled client funds with personal funds

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness as a lawyer

Engaged in an extended course of misconduct

Disregarded court-ordered child support obligations

Used his attorney trust account as his personal bank account

Court held Timmy in contempt for his willful violation of his child support obligations

Timmy engaged in a lengthy and calculated effort to frustrate the enforcement of valid court orders (Screw you, said Timmy!)

Misconduct establishes a shocking disregard for the judicial system
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Fourth Judicial Department Disciplinary Board punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension effective June 4, 2022.
As we speak (ca. June 2022), Timmy will resume his so-called practice of law with the Law Office of Timothy A. Benedict in Rome, New York in June 2024.
