Attorney Jody Castillo of Staunton, VA; slacker, loser

The state of Virginia presented Jody Lyn Castillo with a law license in 1999 after she graduated William & Mary University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar found Jody guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

FYI: This wasn’t Jody’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary private admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Jody by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jody fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.jodycastillolaw.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Jody practices her so-called brand of law with Castillo Law at 115 Shawn Circle in Staunton, Virginia.
