Attorney Brian Benight of Timnath, CO; convicted pervert

The state of Colorado provided Brian M. Reed Benight with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of WyomingSchool of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Brian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Through an anonymous text on an online application, Brian volunteered to fulfill a teenage girl’s request for alcohol
• When Brian and the adolescent met, Brian sexually assaulted her, groping her breasts and vaginal area over her clothes without her consent
• Brian eventually pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflectin on fitness to practce

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Brian practices his so-called brand of law in Timnath, Colorado.
