Solicitor Ross Hanrahan of Austraila; deceitful loser

The Law Society of New South Whales presented Ross Gerard Hanrahan with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Sydney School of Law.

The Council of the New South Wales Bar Association found Ross guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Ross agreed to settlement of client matter against the client’s instructions
• Ross greed to client settlement because he preferred his own interests over the client’s interests
• Ros brought improper pressure to bear on his client, to settle the matter, including by accusing him of making a fraudulent claim.
• Ross perceived it to be in the interests of his reputation if his agreement to the client settlement without instructions was not made known to the court and others
• Misled [lied] the court to believe that the client had given the client’s consent for the consent orders to be made, when the respondent signed the consent orders on the client’s behalf and was a party to them being handed up to the court
• Ross knew that there was a real question as to whether the client had genuinely and freely given his consent to the settlement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the New South Wales Bar Association punished Ross by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Ross practices his so-called brand of law at 130 Elizabeth Street in Sydney, Australia.
