Justice Linda Jamieson of White Plains, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presentedLinda Susan Jamieson with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from Pace University School of Law.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Linda guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Filed inaccurate Financial Disclosure Forms from 2006 through 2016
  • Failed to disclose a debt owed to her based on a loan she made in August 2005 to Nicholas Natrella
  • Improperly lent the prestige of her office in pursuit of a personal matter
  • Permitted her extra judicial activities to detract from the dignity of her office
  • Called Natrella’s bankruptcy attorney Anne Penachio and suggested that Ms. Penachio's client sign a confession of judgment or exclude the debt he owed respondent from his· bankruptcy filing

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Commission on Judicial Conduct punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Linda practices her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Westchester County Supreme Court Justice in White Plains, New York.
