Attorney John Walker of New York City; convicted woman beater

The state of New York presented John Brandon Walker with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted of reckless assault in the third degree
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer
• After several hours of drinking, Johnny and a lady left a restaurant and went to Johnny's apartment, wherein he grabbed her by the neck and kicked her rib cage with his foot
• Johnny’s assault caused the lady to suffer suffered bruises on her neck, throat, and rib cage, contusions on her head, a scaphoid fracture, and bruises on both wrists, and continues to suffer psychologically and emotionally

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Johnny and his firm make no mention of his misconduct as set forth above on their self-serving website at www.bespc.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.
