Sen. Ron Johnson (WI): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

This is not the first award presented to Ronnie. In the past, Ronnie has been the recipient of twenty-three (23) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (ca. May 2022) interview with Fox Business host Neil Cavuto about the recent school shooting in Texas that killed 19 students and 2 teachers, Ronnie responded as follows when asked by Cavuto if stricter background checks could curb future school shootings

When asked by Cavuto if stricter background checks could curb future school shootings, Johnny responded as follows.

• “The solution lies in stronger families, more supportive communities, I would argue renewed faith.”
• “We’ve lost that. We stopped teaching values in so many of our schools. Now we’re teaching wokeness.”
• “We’re indoctrinating our children with things like CRT, telling, you know, some children they’re not equal to others and they’re the cause of other people’s problems.”

Yeah Ronnie, if them damn teachers would stop teaching history wherein, we enslaved African Americans, stole land from Native Americans, forced Chinese men to build the railroads, and basically imprisoned Japanese Americans in internment camps during World War II, the country would be much better off, right?

It wouldn’t surprise me if Ronnie would support teachers in public schools teaching their students that that slavery was not an abomination and instead, they should be taught how the slave owners were mistreated when they were not monetarily compensated for the loss of their slaves via the Emancipation Act issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863, during the Civil War.

And lastly, Ronnie continues to be a total embarrassment to many Wisconsinites.
