Colorado Justice Monica Marquez; lying hypocrite

The state of Colorado provided Monica Marquez with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from Yale University School of Law.

FYI: Former Governor Bill Ritter was duped into appointing Monica as a Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court in December 2010. Monica didn’t get the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney or jurist in Colorado. She received it because he had proven to be a reliable hack for the local politicians.

In one matter, Monica along with her fellow hypocrite Chief Justice Boatwright publicly proclaimed her support for reform in the process of disciplining judicial misconduct in Colorado, which was in fact false. In truth, for many months Monica was privately raising objections while she lobbied lawmakers to delay legislation that would have revamped the judicial disciplinary process.

One must reasonably wonder what Monica fears if the Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline is provided with more power to effectively investigate and punish dishonesty and/or incompetent judges. Maybe she is afraid of any investigation that might seek to determine if she is guilty of violating the Code of Judicial Conduct.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Monica continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court.
