Attorney John Green of Tasmania; slacker, loser

The Law Society of Tasmania provided John Martin Green with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Tasmania School of Law.

The Legal Profession Board of Tasmania found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional misconduct
  • Failed to comply with Supreme Court Rules in respect of money paid to the court
  • Communicated recklessly with client in manner likely to mislead the client into believing Johnny had control of funds and was working to distribute the funds to the beneficiaries when this was not in fact true

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Profession Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed a fine of $5,000.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law at 10 Cameron Street in Launceston, Tasmania.
