Judge Shelley A. Cundiff of Sheridan, WY; incompetent loser

The state of Wyoming presented Shelley A. Cundiff with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Matt Mead was duped into appointing Shelly as a District Court judge in 2012. Shelley didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Sheridan area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The most recent retention evaluation conducted by the Wyoming State Bar Association Judicial Advisory Poll resulted in the following results for Judge Cundiff

  • Knowledge of the law: 44.0% disapprove or strongly disapprove
  • Open-mindedness and impartiality in judicial matters: 34.6% disapprove or strongly disapprove
  • Application of rules of evidence and procedures: 38.5% disapprove or strongly disapprove
  • How well decisions reasoned/clearly expressed: 42.3% disapprove or strongly disapprove
  • Total in opposition = 38.5%

And lastly, the opinions of the attorneys polled clearly indicate that political appointments of judges in Wyoming and elsewhere are a recipe for having someone of Shelly’s ilk ascending to the bench.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Shelley continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Sheridan County District Court judge in Sheridan, Wyoming.
