Judge Matthew Quinn of St. Cloud, MN; scofflaw, loser

The state of Minnesota provided Matthew Quinn with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from William Mitchell School of Law.

This is not the first Award presented to Tucker. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-seven (27) Awards in various categories and the subject of two (2) laments.  Those awards and laments are listed at the end of this article.

FYI: Matty has had his signifanct snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past twenty-two (22) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater area was about to offer Matty a good paying job.

The Board of Judicial Standards found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Abused the prestige of his judicial office
  • Engaged in improper political campaigning
  • Tagged on Facebook numerous photos of the Trump Boat Parade on the Mississippi River in September 2020
  • Drove a boat displaying at least two Trump flags
  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Repeatedly wore a MAGA (Trump Make America Great Again) hat
  • Engaged in conduct casting doubt on public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Standards Board punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Matty continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 7th Judicial District Court Judge in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
