Attorney Lisa Baker of Springfield, MA; ethical misfit

The state of Massachusetts presented Lisa Beth Wilkins Baker with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Lisa guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client matter
  • Failed to carry out her obligations as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem
  • Failed to deposit funds provided to her to place in a trust for a minor until she reached eighteen years of age
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Lisa!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Lisa by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Lisa practices her so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of Lisa Beth Wilkins Baker in Springfield, Massachusetts.
