Attorney Jassiganth Vamadevan of Ontario, CAN; convicted thief

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedJassiganth Vamadevan with a law license in 2018 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Hearing Panel for the Law Society of Ontario found Jassiganth guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty and was sentenced in respect of five criminal offences
• Criminal offenses involved crimes of dishonesty, a lack of integrity
• Disregarded a court order (Screw you, said Jassiganth!)
• Theft amount was under $5,000
• Guilty of Fraudulent use of credit card data
• Pled guilty to charges of theft under $5,000 and fraudulent use of credit card data
• Entered Sunoco gas station and walked up to the cashier and when the clerk turned to retrieve a package of cigarettes for him, Jassiganth unsecured the PIN machine that was on the counter and fled with the machine
• Charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
• Charged with operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of Alcohol
• Pled guilty to the 80 mg alcohol charge in exchange for dismissal of DUI charge
• Found guilty of driving with suspended license

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Jassiganth by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee.
