Attorney Flordia Henderson of Memphis, TN; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Florida M. Henderson with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Flordia guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • The trial court found that Flordia’s client made untrue statements before a judge about the decedent’s marital status
  • Floridafailed to address the issue about the untrue statements with her client or take proper remedial action prior to the conclusion of the proceeding
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to act with candor when dealing with a tribunal
  • Divulged confidential client information

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Flordia by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca.  March 2022), Flordia practices her so-called brand of law at 4862 Elvis Presley Blvd in Memphis, Tennessee.
