Solicitor Huang Lui of Singapore; cheating slacker

The Law Society of Singapore presented Wong Sin Yee with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from Cambridge University School of Law.

The Singapore Disciplinary Tribunal found Huang guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Grossly overcharged for fees in an estate matter (cheater)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed provide full particulars or details of the work done despite repeated client requests and queries
• Refused to respond to repeated requests to tax her bill
• Delayed providing the breakdown of her bill for nine months
• Engaged in grossly improper conduct in the discharge of her professional duty as an advocate and solicitor
• Failed to inform or sufficiently inform her clients of the basis on which her professional services will be charged

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Three Judges of the Republic of Singapore punished Huang by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $5,000.00.  

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Huang continues to practice her so-called version of the law in Singapore.
