Attorney Kevin Patterson of Germantown, TN; ethical dwarf

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Kevin Glenn Patterson with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Kevin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to retain client funds in his IOLTA account after a client did not cash a check for a year and did not respond to various attempts to reach her
• More than four years later, the client cashed the check, which caused an overdraft in Patterson’s client trust account
• Failed to safeguard client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Kevin practices his so-called brand of law at 9057 Valley Crest Lane in Germantown, Tennessee.
