Former Judge Josie Fernandez of Freer, TX; lying loser

The Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Josie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4 Freer, Duval County, Texas.

  • Dismissed a seat belt citation and speeding citation for a friend without complying with the code of criminal procedure
  • Fabricated a court record with respect to the friend’s speeding citation
  • Made Facebook posts or allowed posts to appear on her Facebook page that (a) promoted, advertised, and/or expressed her support for consumer products, businesses, and other commercial endeavors
  • Indicated her support for and association with law enforcement, the Blue Lives Matter movement, and the U.S. Border Patrol
  • Expressed her contempt or disdain for criminal defendants
  • Promoted fundraising efforts by civic, charitable, and educational organizations
  • Directed solicitations for personal and local causes
  • Promoted the campaigns of several candidates for public office
  • Created and forwarded a naked selfie from her cell phone to one or more persons in her community, which was widely disseminated and shared online
  • Gave untruthful testimony [perjury] to the Commission about the selfie
  • Failed to timely respond to Commission inquiries and provide requested records (Up yours, said Josie!)

Rather than await a ruling that would have ordered her removal from the bench, Josie did what any coward would do, she resigned from the bench and promised to never seek a judicial office in the future.

And lastly, because Judicial Misfits in Texas are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Josie was never criminally charged and/or prosecuted for perjury.

As we speak (ca. March 2022), it is rumored that Josie has an application pending for a job as a janitor at the Walmart Supercenter Store located at 1133 General Cavazos Blvd in Kingsville, Texas.
