Judge William Brooks of Wilkesboro, NC; ethical troll
The state of North Carolina presented Clarence Randy Pool with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.
FYI: Former Gov. Pat McCrory was duped into appointing Billy as a 23rd District Judge in 2013. Billy didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Wilkesboro area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.
The North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the North Carolina Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension from the bench without pay.
As we speak (ca. February 2022), Clarence practices his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 23rd District Court Judge in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
