Attorney Jennifer Mayham of Ripley, TN; convicted druggie and perjurer

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Jennifer Lynn Mayham with a law license in 2015 after she graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Jenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Jenny was convicted of misdemeanor drug possession
  • Pled guilty to misdemeanor perjury
  • Failed to reasonably communicate with seven clients regarding the status of their cases
  • Accepted retainers but failed to perform the work
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jenny!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jenny by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Jenny practices her so-called brand of law at 5720 Conner Whitefield Road in Ripley, Tennessee.
