Attorney Robert Brooks II of Cleveland, OH; ethical troll, deadbeat

The state of Colorado provided Robert Chester Books II with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Case Western University School of Law.

The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

It should be noted that prior to the misconduct set forth below, Bobby’s law license was suspended, and he was monetarily sanctioned four (4) separate times for failing to pay the annual attorney registration fee.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Bobby!)
  • Failed to advise client he did not carry legal malpractice insurance
  • Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal (Up yours, said Bobby!)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits in Colorado sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Booby by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law at 1893 East 82nd Street in Cleveland, Ohio.
