Attorney David Callender of Valley Stream, NY; slacker, loser

The state of New York presented David Bancroft Callender with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the Norman Manley School of Law in Kingston, Jamacia.

The 1^st Appellate Division Grievance Committee found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected client legal matter
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness as a lawyer
• Improperly collected a fee in a domestic relations matter without a written retainer agreement being signed by himself and his client setting forth in plain language the nature of the relationship and the details of the fee arrangement
• Failed to provide a prospective client in a domestic relations matter with a statement of client's rights and responsibilities
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Davey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received four (4) complimentary admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

And lastly, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.got.law.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Davey practices his so-called brand of law at 108 South Franklin Avenue in Valley Stream, New York.
