Judge Erik Jacobson of Bedford, NY; belligerent drunk

The State of New York presented Erik Peter Jacobsen with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.

The State of New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Erik guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Westchester County Police received a 911 call reporting that a silver Mercedes-Benz that belonged to Erik was driving erratically on the Saw Mill River Parkway, near Mount Kisco
• After pulling Eric over, officer Bitawi detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and observed that he had red glassy eyes and was slurring his speech
• When Officer Bitawi asked respondent if he had been drinking that night, and Davey said that he had not
• Officer Bitawi asked Eric several times to get out of his car but her refused, stating, “no” and “no I will not”
• Due to Eric’s repeated refusals to get out of his car, Officer Bitawi was forced to deploy his taser on Eric
• In the Rye City Court, Eric was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), Resisting Arrest, failing to stop at a red light, and failure to use a designated lane
• Subsequently, Eric pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Eric continues to sit as a Justice of the Bedford Town Court in Westchester County, New York. Eric supplements hid judicial salary by practicing his so-called brand of law at 15 Court Road in Bedford, New York.
