Judge James Dunleavey of Houlton, ME; ethical dwarf

FYI: Jimmy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past forty-five (45) years.

The Judicial Conduct Commission found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Ran for a seat in Maine State Senate without first resigning his judicial position
• Violated rules by soliciting contributions in support of his Senate candidacy

Despite finding Jimmy guilty of the charges as set forth above, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court voted not to discipline him in any manner. Put simply, they gave Jimmy a High Five and told him to keep up the good work.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of jurisprudence as the Aroostook County Probate Court judge in Houlton, Maine.
