Attorney Paul Burgess of Ontario, CAN; drug abusing drunk

The Law Society of Upper Canada provided Paul Dominic Helsby Burgess with a license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Upper Canada Law Society Disciplinary Committee found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Charged with the overuse of controlled substances
  • Failed to report on five different occasions when he was charged with an indictable offence
  • Engaged in professional misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Law Society Disciplinary Board punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Paulie practices his so-called brand of law at 97 Bridge Street in Campbellford, Ontario, Canada.
