Former Judge Craig Stowers of Anchorage, AK; incompetent boob

The state of Alaska provided Craig F. Stowers with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of California Davis School of Law.

Craig’s incompetence took place while he was sitting as a Third Judicial District Court judge in Anchorage, Alaska.

In one matter, Judge Stowers was assigned to preside over the case of Heustess v. Kelley-Heustess that involved the issue of calculating child support.

In his infinite ignorance, Judge Stowers made various rulings that subsequently led the Court of Appeal to reverse his asinine rulings and in doing so made the following findings.

• Erred in failing to deduct federal income tax from husband's gross income when it calculated child support arrearage
• Erroneously awarded $37,207.50 in attorney fees to the husband’s ex-wife with $6,307.50 of said amount being based on the husband’s alleged bad faith conduct and vexation litigation
• Superior court erred by failing to deduct federal income tax liability from the husband's gross income
• Determination of the husband's income for one year had to be reversed and remanded for additional findings

Of course, it goes without saying that Stowers didn’t much give a damn when he’s overturned (rebuked in truth) by the appellate court since he is well aware that no Alaskan judge has ever been tossed off the bench for being an incompetent boob.
