Attorney Gayle Brown of AK; slacker, loser

The state of Alaska provided Gayle Brown with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Alaska School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Gayle guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Breached duty owed to the legal system
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to timely file pleadings on client’s behalf
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to candidly communicate with her client
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to timely file appellate brief
  • Engaged in a pattern of client neglect
  • Caused injury or potential injury to the client
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Gayle by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Gayle practices his so-called brand of law at 7721 Big Spruce Circle in Anchorage, Alaska.
