Attorney Larry Wallace of Brooklyn, NY; ethical troll

The state of New York provided Larry Wallace with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Larry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Breached fiduciary duty at least 13 times
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to properly identify his attorney special account records

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

And lastly, in a lame attempt at levity, the members of the Disciplinary Panel in determining the appropriate discipline to impose on Larry, laughingly considered his claim of experiencing a difficult childhood. Do you think these same enablers for Attorney Misfits would give that kind of weight to someone convicted of stealing a carton of cigarettes when it came time for sentencing?
