Attorney Michelle Rivera of Osceola, IA; drunken loser

The state of Iowa provided Michelle Murphy Rivera with a law license in 2009 after she graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Michelle guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

• Engaged in criminal conduct adversely reflecting on her fitness to practice law
• Found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Michelle by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license. 

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Michelle practices her brand of law at 116 West Jefferson in Osceola, Iowa.
