Attorney Bradley Winnick of Hummelstown, PA; convicted felon

The state of Pennsylvania provided Bradley Adam Winnick with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Brad guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which occurred while he was employed as state-funded Public Defender.

  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on Brad’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer
  • Charged with one court of conspiracy to divert assets
  • Charged with one count of Tempering with public records
  • Charged with one count Restricted activities – conflict of interest
  • Pled guilty to Restricted activities – conflict of interest, an upgraded felony
  • Brad’s criminal charges were based on his decision to offer employees of the Public Defender’s Office double compensatory time off for each hour they handed out campaign literature promoting certain candidates, including Judge Royce Morris

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Brad by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective May 22, 2021.

As we speak (ca. June 2021), Brad will resume his so-called brand of law at 909 Espenshade Court in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania in early May 2022.
