Attorney John Gallagher of Malvern, PA; serial offender

The state of Pennsylvania provided John A. Gallagher with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Johnny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Undertook client representation notwithstanding a conflict of interest
• Neglected client legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to adequately communicate with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Johnny’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to maintain required records for depositing his own funds into his IOLTA trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Johnny’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to retain records regarding client funds for five years
• Failed to deposit unearned fees into client trust account
• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests upon being terminated
• Repeatedly violated his fiduciary duties by misusing his IOLTA trust account
• Improperly paid personal expenses from IOLTA trust account
• Has a demonstrated record of noncompliance with ethical rules and regulations
• Attempted to blame his wife for his misdeeds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective January 22, 2021.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Johnny will resume his so-called brand of law at 5 Great Valley Parkway in Malvern, Pennsylvania in early February 2022.
