The Upper Canada Law Society Disciplinary Committee found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to ensure client obtained independent legal advice regarding conflict of interest
• Failed to disclose material information to client involving conflict of interest matter
• Over a five-year period Mikey acted for multiple parties with conflicting interests in mortgage and mortgage-related transactions without obtaining prior written consent

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society Disciplinary Board punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and ordered to pay $20,000 in investigative costs.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
