Attorney Jeffrey McClarnon of Greenfield, IN; ethical goblin

The state of Indiana provided Jeffrey David McClarnon with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in an improper ex parte (one sided) communication with a judge
• Assisted a judicial officer in conduct that is a violation of applicable rules of judicial conduct or other law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Jeff practices his so-called brand of law with the McClarnon Law Office at 305 North State Street in Greenfield, Indiana.
