Attorney Harold Brady of Jamaica; ethical troll

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Harold C. Brady with a law license in 1979.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Harry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Was aware that the entire mortgage proceeds of J$14 million did not represent the amount due to his client pursuant to the assignment
• In remaining silent and non-responsive to several letters, Harry led the parties to believe that the amount over and above the balance due to his clients would be returned to them
• Harry knew

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Harry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. He was also ordered to pay $250,000.00 towards the complainant’s costs.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Harry practices his brand of law in Kingston, Jamaica.
