Solicitor Sheila McConnell of Ireland; ethical troll

The Law Society of Ireland provided Sheila McConnell with a solicitor’s license in 1979 after she graduated from Queen’s University School of Law in Belfast.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Sheila guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Breached Solicitors’ Account Regulations
• Failed to ensure that there was furnished to the Law Society an accountant’s report within six months of her financial year

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Sheila by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment and a fine of €500.00.
