Judge Darvin Zimmerman of Vancouver, WA; bigot, lifetime porker

The state of Washington presented Darvin John Zimmerman with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

FYI: Darvin has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past forty-five (45) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Vancouver area.

In one matter, Judge Zimmerman thought it was cute to make various comments about his son’s conduct as a member of a drug task force involving an attempt to arrest a man. Zimmerman’s son was not one of the three deputies who fired their guns, leading to the death of 21-year-old Keven Peterson Jr.

Unbeknownst to Judge Zimmerman, his comments about Mr. Peterson’s death was broadcast live on YouTube after the end of a court hearing. Those remarks are as follows.

• “He [Peterson] was so dumb” because he thought he would go to jail for a relatively small drug bust. (Involved the attempted sale of Xanax)
• “Peterson is the Black guy they are trying to make an angel out of.”

Zimmerman also spoke negatively about Mr. Peterson’s father when he said the following.

“He woke up the day after the slaying with dollar signs in

his eyes and George Floyd’s attorneys.”

As we speak (ca. March 2021), Darvin continues to practice his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Clark County District Court Judge in Vancouver, Washington.
