2020 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Actress Comedy Award

The Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series is an award given by the Screen Actors Guild to honor the finest female acting achievement in a comedy series. Actresses are eligible for the award whether they appear in leading or supporting roles in their respective programs.

Previous winners are listed below.

  • Tina Fey in 30 Rock
  • Betty White in Hot in Cleveland
  • Uzo Aduba in Orange is the New Black
  • Rachel Brosnahan in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
  • Felicity Huffman in Desperate Housewives

And the 2020 Award goes to:

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany

The selection committee along with the voting members were unanimous in providing this prestigious award to Kayleigh given her talent in spewing forth hundreds of laughable lies during her short tenure as White House Press Secretary from April 2020 through January 20, 2021.

If Donald “Trumporleone” Trump had been reelected in November 2020, Kayleigh would have had an opportunity to surpass the number of laughable lies that were told by her predecessor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

And lastly, given Kayleigh’s outstanding comedic performance as The Great Leader’s press secretary, it is obvious that she should not have any problem in securing future employment as an Aspiring Standup Comedian.
