Judge Sonya McKnight of Harrisburg, PA; charged with multiple crimes

The State of Pennsylvania presented Sonya McKnight with a license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. 

The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board found Sonya guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Criminally charged with Tampering with Evidence
• Criminally charged with Obstruct the Administration of Justice
• Criminally charged with Official Oppression
• Used her position as a judge to interfere with officers who were trying to arrest her son Kevin Baltimore
• Police said in court records that they pulled Baltimore over for an expired registration, and he called his mother Sonya from the scene
• When Sonya arrived at the scene she questioned the arresting officers
• Police said Sonya took a pill bottle from Baltimore’s vehicle and left the scene with it
• The arresting officers charged Baltimore with possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Failed to report her arrest to the disciplinary board and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court as required under the Pennsylvania Rules of Judicial Administration
• Public confidence has been and will continue to be undermined if Judge McKnight s permitted to continue presiding over a court after being charged with violations of the Crimes Code of Pennsylvania

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Sonya by ordering her suspension from the bench “with pay.” This means that she is receiving a taxpayer funded annual salary of $168,350 which equates to $3,237.50 per week. Who was the buffoon that said “crime doesn’t pay?”

All that remains now is to see how long it takes for Sonya to cop a plea to limit the amount of time she’ll have to spend in prison. Additionally, we’ll have to wait to see what punishment if any is meted out to Sonya by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Sonya sits at home playing solitaire on her computer awaiting the outcome of her criminal conduct.
