Attorney William Cobb of St. Johnsbury, VT; dimwitted slacker

The state of Vermont presented William W. Cobb with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Vermont School of Law.  

The Vermont Professional Responsibility Board found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Mishandled and unlawfully disclosed confidential juvenile court information
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Failed to obtain or review recordings of alleged victim interviews on client’s behalf
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to file a motion to amend client conditions of release so that he could request contact with his children
• despite multiple requests that he do so
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Misrepresented [lied] to disciplinary counsel the substance and circumstances of timekeeping records for his client (Screw you, said Billy!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Billy fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.cobblawvt.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool. 

As we speak (ca. February 2021), Billy practices his brand of law with the Law Offices of William W. Cobb at 1129 Main Street in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.
