Attorney Rodric Brock of Bedford, TX; ethical gnome

The state of Texas presented Rodric Alan Brock with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

The District 7 Grievance Committee found Rod guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a forfeiture matter
  • Failed to maintain his client’s funds in a separate trust account
  • Failed to promptly deliver to the client funds that the client was entitled to receive

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Rod by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $1,175.00.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court did not mete out any meaningful punishment to Rod.

As speak (ca. June 2021), Rod practices his brand of law at 1244 Harwood Road in Bedford, Texas.
