Attorney Joshua Androphy of New York City; ethical dwarf

The state of New York presented Joshua Samuel Androphy with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the Columbia University School of Law.

The Appellate Division, First Department Grievance Committee found Josh guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improper remittal of an erroneously issued settlement check to his client, which his client was not entitled to receive
• Submitted a declaration admitting that he violated ethics rules

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the First Department Grievance Committee punished Josh by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
