Attorney Larry Severson of Lakeville, MN; lying loser

The state of Minnesota presented Larry S. Severson with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Larry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Entered into an investment agreement, which amounted to an unsecured $500,000 loan, and several related business transactions with a client in violation of his obligations under the rules of professional conduct regarding conflicts of interest
  • Made misrepresentations [lied] to a client and opposing counsel during a civil lawsuit
  • Knowingly lied to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Larry!)
  • Failed to display any lack of remorse

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Larry practices his brand of law at 16233 Kenyon Avenue in Lakeville, Minnesota.
