Attorney Jay Meisenhelder of Indianapolis, IN; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana presented Jay Meisenhelder with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jay guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Revealed information relating to representation of a client without the client’s informed consent
• Revealed information relating to the representation of a former client except as the relevant disciplinary rules permit or require

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jay by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Jay practices his brand of law with Jay Meisenhelder ECRLS PC at 650 North Girls School Road in Indianapolis, Indiana.
