Attorney Mary Brown of Salt Lake City; scamming loser

The State of Utah presented Mary D. Brown with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from the Yeshiva University School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Mary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to discuss filing for bankruptcy with her client’s estranged husband directly or explained bankruptcy options to him when she filed the petition for bankruptcy
  • Failed to act with candor when dealing with bankruptcy court
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Did not have authorization from her client’s estranged husband to file bankruptcy action on his behalf

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Mary failed to make any mention of her misconduct as aforementioned on we self-serving website at www.slcatty.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal these highly relevant facts from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Mary practices her brand of law with Mary Deiss Brown PLLC at 311 South State Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
