Attorney Leigh E. Anderson of Buffalo, NY; ethical dwarf

The state of New York provided Leigh E. Anderson with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Syracuse University.

The Grievance Committee of the 4th Judicial Department found Leigh guilty of engaging in:
  1. Conduct that adversely reflected on his fitness to practice law
  2. Commingled client funds with his personal funds
  3. Failed to maintain proper records of client funds
  4. Failed to maintain proper bank account records
  5. Failed to provide client with statement of client’s rights in a domestic relations matter
  6. Failed to provide client with mandatory itemized bills at 60-day intervals
The comedians sitting on the grievance committee ruled that Leigh had expressed “extreme remorse.” What in the hell is “extreme remorse?” Is that like saying I’m “extremely sorry” I cheated on your Honey verses just saying “I’m sorry?”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on Grievance Committee of the 4th Judicial Department punished Leigh by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2012) Leigh practices law at 69 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, New York.
