Judge Ted Blakeney of Mendenhall, MS; ethical goblin

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Teddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, while she was employed as a Hinds County Justice Court judge.

  • Failed to wear judicial robe in the courtroom
  • Improperly allowed photographic coverage of his court proceedings

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2021) Teddy continues to practice his brand of jurisprudence as a judge of the Simpson County Justice Court in Mendenhall, Mississippi.
