Former Judge Lynne Muller of Bergenfield, NJ; pompous loser

The state of New Jersey provided Lynne S. Muller with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Lynn guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Borough of Bergenfield Municipal Court judge.

  • Used power and prestige of her judicial office to influence a purely private matter
  • Inappropriately conducted herself in the presence of municipal law enforcement officers
  • After a Sgt. Monroe, investigator with New Jersey’s Office of Attorney General, Division of Criminal Justice went to Lynne’s home to serve a grand jury subpoena on her husband, she became irate and began yelling at Sgt. Maggi in in the presence of Officers Savage and Ramos and demanded that Sgt. Monroe be arrested and brought in for questioning
  • Lynne accused Sgt. Maggi of not knowing how to do his job
  • Conveyed the impression that she was in a special position of influence
  • Repeatedly referred to herself as a judge when dealing with several police officers in an overt attempt to gain special treatment for herself and/or her husband
  • Intimated that the conduct of the police officers was somehow more offensive because she was “their judge” and they were not doing her bidding
  • Lynn found it appropriate to compare the work of another municipality’s police department and suggested that the Bergenfield Police Department was inferior

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Lynne by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Lynne practices her brand of law at 15 West Main Street in Bergenfield, New Jersey.
